Honda Cordel

Conquistando a Popzinha:
The mobile soap opera that united two passions of all people from the northeast of Brazil: Cordel literature and Honda Pop.

Background:
Honda Pop is the Brazilian Northeast region’s most beloved motorcycle. Now, it comes with new safety features and a new design. To celebrate the News and pay tribute to its proud owners, we reinterpreted another Northeastern passion: Cordel literature, a genuine Brazilian art expression whose poems are characterized by the use of Brazilian elements and a great sense of humor.

Idea:
Respecting the Cordel language as well as local traditions, we invited only Northeastern artists to co-create the first Cordel soap opera exclusively for mobile platforms. “Conquistando a Popzinha” shows, in eight episodes, Silverinho and Breno Mariano battling for the heart of dreaming Joana Beatriz, who rides her Pop motorcycle every day on the city streets.
